"Sweetpea" is a young girl who at
the tender age of less than one, would lie in her bouncy seat and
watch Granma dancing in the living room. Granma is Gloria Johnson
and Sweetpea was Granpa Duaty's nickname for Cheyenne Lenay Dancause
their granddaughter.

Twain's single "Honey, I'm Home" was named after this bouncing baby
who so enjoyed kicking her little feet in time with the music as
Granma danced.
Cheyenne was diagnosed as a Type 1
Diabetic at the age of 27 months and almost became a statistic.
Doctors at Arnold Palmer's Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida
saved her life, and doctors at Shand's Hospital at the University of
Florida continue to monitor her progress. She is Insulin dependent
but doing much better.
It's hard to believe, but the child
is now a teenager. 13 years old going on 20. Like most teenagers,
she knows all there is to know, but at least she listens to Granma
and Granpa. |
